IWAN was registered in Iraq in 2012, however, the company has strong consortium of highly professional firms behind it. The company Founder has over 20 years of experience in the field of Architecture and Real Estate development.
The purpose of establishing the company in Iraq is to serve this market which is on the verge of starting one of the world largest reconstruction programs.
It was clear that a significant number of public projects in Iraq has either not been executed or experiencing significant delays. Those delays were was due to lack of:
- Comprehensive Architectural drawings and specifications.
- Proper Engineering Designs.
- Complete contract documentation.
- Clear standards for bid evaluation.
- Lack of professional supervision and construction management.
We believe Iraqi efforts to start the national reconstruction plan will requires the support of professional consultancy firms in all professional aspects. This will include; Urban design, architecture, engineering, electromechanical, environment, construction management, infrastructure design, roads and bridges … to feasibility studies, market analysis and finance.
We are creating an international consortium from specialized regional and international professional firms that could offer their services to the Iraqi market through IWAN Engineering Consultants Co.
We will offer total or specific solution to clients’ needs or problems. We will draw upon our consortium’s local and international experience to bring value to the projects and meet time and budget constraints.
